FAQ
Please read our frequently asked questions before booking a trip.
Our maximum number of passengers we can take on our boats has been cut by 33% to 50% per boat, so essentially every trip is now a ‘limited load’ trip. We expect that this will continue well into the 2021 season. We will not be able to offer any of our usual discounts or our Kids Fish Free days.
ALL PASSENGERS MUST HAVE A RESERVATION!
Covid -19 rules from the San Luis Obispo County Health Department:
San Luis Obispo County has allowed that we can run trips if we abide by the following rules. These rules are set in place by the County, you can like them or dislike them but they ARE THE RULES AND MUST BE FOLLOWED!
Please do not argue the points with our employees, we want to go fishing as badly as you do, and this is what we have been told to do in order to run our business. We will ask anyone that is not willing to follow the rules to leave, we do not want our business to be fined or shut down. If you find these rules impossible to abide by then please do not make a reservation!
Must wear a mask.
Maintain 6’ social distance.
Self screening for symptoms before you arrive, here is a list of the CDC guidelines for symptoms:
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose

Our office and our boats will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. The office will be cleaned between each boat that we put out and frequently during business hours. We want to keep our employees and customers safe and healthy.
Check in is still one hour prior to departure time
Ticket prices do not include rod rentals, tackle or licenses, these are paid for on the day of the trip.
Anything purchased on the boat is cash only as they do not have credit card machines on the boat.
If you have made your reservations as a group then you need to be in line consecutively to come in and sign the manifest and make any purchases. i.e. if there are 4 of you on one reservation then you need to be in line with one, two, three and four in line behind one another.
Families with small children may keep their children with them in line and don’t need to have their children 6’ away.
